you could call us Halloween scrooges if you'd like.
we did absolutely nothing for the spooky holiday.
no pumpkin carving, painting or decorating.
not a single bag of candy bought.
no thoughts about costumes.
no scary movies.
lights off.
no trick or treaters.
and i liked it.

Yeah we do owe that to mom. However you'll take a slightly greater enjoyment in the holiday after you have a kid... But only slightly.
